Richard Holmes, Ph.D.
Dr. Rick Holmes enjoys working with children (6 years and older), adolescents, families, adults and couples. He has treated clients with anxiety, depression, ADHD, faith-based issues, and other behavior and mood disorders at the Newark office since 2004. Dr. Holmes also provides psychological services at Manor Care Pike Creek for geriatric rehab patients.
Dr. Holmes has been a licensed psychologist since 2000. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Amherst College (MA), and both a Master of Arts and a Ph.D. in clinical and school psychology from Hofstra University (NY). He completed his internship training in Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) at the Albert Ellis Institute in New York City.
Dr. Holmes is a member of the American Psychological Association and Delaware Psychological Association.
